NOVIR

Nordic Visual Impairment Research group

The purpose of NOVIR is to coordinate and initiate joint Nordic research and development within the area of visual impairment. To develop a research- and development network on a joint Nordic level, through which initiatives can be shared, and to facilitate, support and supervise new research and development.


An important part of the network is to facilitate a cooperation and establish coordination between relevant, corresponding initiatives and groups of professionals within the field of visual impairment in Scandinavia.

Network for psychologists

European network for psychologists and related professions working in the field of Visual Impairment.


The aim of this network is to exchange and develop experience and competence among professionals.


The target group is not just psychologists but all staff members working with interested in the mental development of the visually impaired.

International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment, European Region

The idea of ICEVI is sharing information and knowledge on the field of education and rehabilitation of people with visual impairment. Target audience is professionals and others involved in the education and rehabilitation of children and young people with visual impairment.

ENVITER

The European Network for Visually Impaired Training Education & Research

ENVITER is a cooperative association currently consisting of 10 European Institutions for Blind or Visually Impaired People with the aim to share ideas and practices and to work together on research and technology projects. All the members of ENVITER are specialist schools, colleges or institutions working with the Blind or Visually Impaired.

 

ENVITER represents some of Europe’s leading specialists in this field.
